Sound Designing

Sound designers provide sound effects in the play, including music from existing sources. It is an essential for them to study the script and gather as much information as they can about the sound and music. This is to create the mood, make changes in the mood and even build transitions between scenes. Usually, an early meeting of directer with the designers will be arranged to ensure the team has clear understanding of the production concept.

From what I can see from the video, sound designing can be very interesting, designers need to capture the right timing and therefore, they need to have great concentration during the recording. In my opinion, it can be very hard to gather certain materials in order to make the right sound effects for the films. However, it is thanks to the sound designers that we can enjoy realistic films without flaws.

Mad Father

Mad Father is a pixel horror game , as the name suggested , the whole story revolves around a girl named Aya and her father , a mad scientist who is 'a little bit' mentally broke down . In the game , it is believed that the main character's mother died of a sickness long time ago . On the night before the anniversary of her mother's death , she was told by her father to go to bed earlier as he has still some work to do , which is performing secret researches in laboratory in the house basement together with the maid ( or assistant ) , Maria . Ozabu

Ozabu is an artist who draws soft and smooth drawings that are related to Japanese extracts with mechanical pencil. Ozabu's drawings are usually very light and soft. Just like Dimitra Milan, Ozabu's passion for arts was big influence by her parents. However, as a self-taught artist, Ozabu did not use any reference books nor does any research on what the other artists use to draw and such. Instead, Ozabu would see a piece in person and analyze it, teaching herself the technique and trying out different tools until she understands how the piece was created. I have realized that Ozabu often draws gory drawings, some of them even reminded me of "death" even though her drawings are very beautiful. According to the interview, Ozabu's inspirations often come from her feelings and experiences, and she experienced death of someone important in her life.
