     Ivan Alifan Jdanov is a figurative artist who does unusual paintings . His paintings are mostly done by thick paints , all of his paintings are erotic and they might be disturbing to some people due to the mature content . I really like how he does the painting with the thick paints , apparently some of the thicker oil paints need more than 1 month to dry . Some of Ivan Alifan's works are getting famous and being mentioned on social media such as Facebook .

This series is an exploration of the modern gaze; of ambiguous figurative paintings that are revealed and transformed within the act of the individuals' views. These portraits are not an attempt to render physical characteristics  but rather create a language of underlying sexual subtexts. Using ambiguity as a tool demands the viewer's exploration of their psyches and provokes self awareness. 


To have a painting that can exist as an alluring object and shift into an eroticized figure disarms and naturalizes the modern gaze; decriminalizing sex in art. Whether an individual sexualizes the figure, or becomes embarrassed and nervous by the mere suggestion, this is all a process which occurs independently from the painting. Breaking down barriers of the different modes in which the body can exist in social spheres and contemporary art. "

Ozabu

     Ozabu is an artist who draws soft and smooth drawings that are related to Japanese extracts with mechanical pencil. Ozabu's drawings are usually very light and soft. Just like Dimitra Milan, Ozabu's passion for arts was big influence by her parents. However, as a self-taught artist, Ozabu did not use any reference books nor does any research on what the other artists use to draw and such. Instead, Ozabu would see a piece in person and analyze it, teaching herself the technique and trying out different tools until she understands how the piece was created.      I have realized that Ozabu often draws gory drawings, some of them even reminded me of "death" even though her drawings are very beautiful. The Potato Girl   ( Storyline )     Many people eat potatoes , either in the form of french fries or mash potatoes . A potato had been witnessing all these scenes where it sees it ’s comrades being eaten in the cruel ways . It felt a great fear in facing it’s destiny as a potato and it’s inner thought had created a miracle , which is why it turned into a potato girl in the next morning .
